Dear Friends in Christ,

In 1924, when a handful of families sacrificed to establish St. Therese Church, and a few years later St. Therese School, they also blessed us with a legacy to build upon.

By God’s grace, we have grown from a small community into a dynamic parish of over 1,000 families. 

Just as we now benefit from the generosity of those who came before us, we too are called to renew St. Therese Church and School, to ensure that future generations also can grow in friendship with Jesus here.

Therefore, I am pleased to announce the launch of our parish’s Called to Renew campaign.

Alongside every parish in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, we ask the Most Holy Trinity to bless this ambitious effort. 

Each parish has been given a goal for the campaign. Our goal is $1,000,000, of which 50% will be used to address our own immediate needs. The other 50% will go to addressing other needs across the Archdiocese, including deferred maintenance at parishes like ours. 100% of the funds we collect over our goal will also be available for our immediate use.

Please take some time to prayerfully ask Jesus how you can most generously support this campaign, including possibly making a five-year pledge, which will allow us the best opportunity to reach our goal. Our parish has always come together for the common good in amazing ways, and so I pray that you will do whatever you can to make our Called to Renew campaign a success.

Let us entrust it all to the intercessions of our Blessed Mother and St. Joseph and our patroness, St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus and of the Holy Face.
