From the Pastor

Dear Friends in Christ,

We recently celebrated a major milestone — paying off the mortgage on our church! Thanks to your good stewardship, committed intentional discipleship, and dedication, we achieved this significant milestone of repaying $5.5 million in 10 years. 

Since 1997, Saint Kateri Tekakwitha has served the spiritual and temporal needs of our diverse family. During these 22 years, clergy and laity have worked together to establish a faith community where all individuals find opportunities to deepen their relationship with Jesus, live our faith in just service to others, and give our lives entirely to Jesus. To continue building on this legacy, we are now launching Called to Renew along with every parish in the Archdiocese. 

As our parish continues to grow, we must ensure that we can serve the needs of our community in the future. Furthermore, as disciples of Jesus, we acknowledge that all we are and have are gifts from God. Each of us must nurture these blessings, not only for ourselves, but also for His Church. 

Every parish has been given a goal for this historic effort to provide funding for parishes throughout the Archdiocese, including ours, as well as to strengthen ministries and programs that enrich us all. Our goal is $2,475,000, of which 50 percent will remain at our parish. Additionally, we will retain 100 percent of the funds we collect over our goal. In other words, when our campaign is successful, we will receive a minimum of $1,237,500 for our own needs. Details about how we plan to use our share of campaign funds are on the following page.

Please prayerfully discern how you can most generously support this campaign. I encourage you to consider making a five-year pledge, which will allow us the best opportunity to reach our goal. I am amazed how our community always works together to meet needs that arise, and I know you will do whatever you can to make this campaign a success.

We entrust this campaign to the intercessions of our Blessed Mother and our patron, Saint Kateri Tekakwitha. Thank you for your faithful support.
