If you already benefit from donor-advised funds, please make checks payable to The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Los Angeles and designate Called to Renew. Add the parish name that you wish to credit with your donation.

If you are aged 70 ½ or older, you may have the opportunity to support Called to Renew through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA). Opting for a QCD offers several advantages over taking a taxable IRA distribution and then donating the proceeds to a charity. By making a QCD directly from your IRA to Called to Renew, the donated amount will not be included in your adjusted gross income.

A QCD allows for annual direct transfers of up to $100,000 from your tax-deferred IRA savings to a qualified charity. It’s important to note that QCDs also count towards fulfilling Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) for the year in which the QCD is made.
