To renew our parish and strengthen ministries.
Our worship space should complement the beauty that abounds in our Catholic liturgy. Installing an artistic backdrop behind the altar will fill currently bare wall space and beautify our sanctuary. Repainting the interior and exterior of the church, for the first time in many years, will help restore its luster and protect it from the elements. These improvements will enrich our worship experience.
Parishioners and visitors pray and reflect in our chapel on a daily basis. Directing additional funds from the campaign to those we have already raised will allow us to complete the Eucharistic Adoration Chapel.
Our church’s current pump system does not efficiently moderate the temperature during the warmest months of the year. Installing a new HVAC system will make our worship experience more comfortable. We will also replace the malfunctioning HVAC system in the Bishop Dennis O’Neil Center and install new HVAC systems in the rectory and the convent.
We — the Catholic faithful — are the agents of renewal for Church and society. I am grateful for this opportunity to walk alongside clergy and parishioners in strengthening our parishes and ministries, the heart of our Archdiocese.

As Christians, we are called to meet the spiritual and temporal needs of others. Called to Renew provides us with an extraordinary opportunity to expand and enhance our ministries to the most vulnerable among us, so we may walk with the sick and dying as well as with the victims and perpetrators of violent crimes and their families.
The future of our Church is strengthened when men hear and answer the Lord’s call to serve as his shepherds. The Archdiocese is committed to vocations and the formation of our seminarians and clergy, so they may minister with joyful hearts in the years ahead.
Our mission to live in greater communion with God and the Church is carried out through our parish and diocesan schools, religious education and faith formation programs, and our presence on college campuses throughout Southern California.
