Our community is excited to participate alongside all parishes, missions and Catholic centers in the Archdiocese to strengthen and renew our Church for the future. Please continue reading to learn how this campaign will benefit us.
In 1960, when a handful of families sacrificed to establish St. Paschal Baylon, they also blessed us with a legacy to build upon and celebrate.
Through God’s grace, we have grown from a small faith community into a welcoming parish of nearly 5,000 families. We have created a vibrant, active, and dynamic place for people of all ages to grow in their faith, serve others, and share the Good News as they connect with Christ, one another, and those in need.
We are now launching Called to Renew alongside every parish in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and ask God to bless our ambitious effort. This campaign will allow us to address the needs of parishioners and St. Paschal Baylon Parish, ensuring future generations may continue to gather, worship, and create lasting friendships.
The goal for our campaign is $1,547,500, of which 54 percent will remain at our parish to address the needs detailed on the following page. We will also retain 100 percent of the funds we collect over our goal.
I am asking you, and every member of our parish, to make a gift from the heart. In turn, I, as your pastor and fellow parishioner, will also make a sacrificial pledge. Before you determine your pledge, please prayerfully consider the generosity God has shown you, and the importance of the mission we have been given at St. Paschal Baylon.
Pledged over 5 years for the Called to Renew Campaign.

Parish Needs
Church
Installing two new air conditioning units will better moderate the temperature in the church. Replacing the pew cushions and the kneelers with hydraulic versions will make our worship experience more conducive to prayer. Upgrading the pipe organ console as well as installing a sound system in the choir loft will enhance our music ministry and liturgies.
Parish School
Addressing the infrastructure of our aging school buildings, including the electrical systems, heating and air conditioning units, and plumbing, will allow us to better serve our students and community. Adding two new modular classrooms on the east side of the school building will provide more space for our growing school and parish religious education and ministry programs. Expanding the school office will enhance the school’s administration. Adding an outdoor learning area, reslurring the blacktops with new game lines, and installing an electronic marquee and push bars at all the exit gates will improve our outdoor space.
Parish Hall Renovations
Replacing the lighting in our hall (gym) with energy-efficient LED lighting will reduce operational costs, and stage lighting will be more functional for the space. Replacing two air conditioning units will make our ministries, gatherings, and events more comfortable. Modifying all of the conference rooms will benefit parish groups.
Campus
Landscaping, including replacing and trimming trees and planting a hedge along Moorpark Road, will enhance our campus. Slurring the parking lot and installing additional lighting across from the church will make it safer and more welcoming.
