Our community is excited to participate alongside all parishes, missions and Catholic centers in the Archdiocese to strengthen and renew our Church for the future. Please continue reading to learn how this campaign will benefit us.
Pope Francis said that parishes are a field hospital – a place of healing for us wounded in the battle here on Earth. He asked us to be an instrument of that healing. Therefore, Archbishop Jose Gomez has launched Called to Renew, a capital campaign aimed at strengthening the mission of our Church and strengthening 302 parishes, missions, and Catholic centers, as well as over 200 schools across the Archdiocese.
Each parish has been given a goal for the Campaign. St. Lucy’s goal is $550,000. Half of that amount, or $275,000, will remain at our parish. Details about how we plan to use our share of the campaign funds are on the following page.
I am asking you to pray and I am appealing to your generosity to consider a five-year pledge which allows us the best opportunity to reach our goal.God promises that he will bless us multiple times as we give generously on His behalf. This is a wonderful parish, and I am amazed of how our community always works together to meet our needs. I know you will do whatever you can to make this campaign a success.
We entrust our Called to Renew Campaign to the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary, St. Joseph, our patron, St. Lucy, and all the saints in Heaven.
Pledged over 5 years for the Called to Renew Campaign.

Parish Needs
Adoration Chapel
We want to build a simple but elegant, 24-hour adoration chapel with a safe environment to allow people to come at any time to pray and pour out their heart to Jesus.
Parish Hall Repairs
Our parish hall restrooms are in poor condition and must be renovated as well as replacing outdated ceiling, doors and windows.
Office & Rectory
Our rectory and office are now 78 years old and require the celings and floors to be replaced.
A Bold Plan of Renewal
We — the Catholic faithful — are the agents of renewal for Church and society. I am grateful for this opportunity to walk alongside clergy and parishioners in strengthening our parishes and ministries, the heart of our Archdiocese.
