Parish Needs

Parking Lot

The parking lot is the first thing people see when they arrive at the church. It leaves a lot to be desired. We will use a part of our Called to Renew funds to fill in the potholes and cracks/completely resurface the parking lot. This will create a more welcoming and safer environment. We will also establish the outdoor Stations of the Cross on the side.

Education of Children (Hangul Classes)

We strive to provide learning opportunities for our children of cultural and linguistic heritage, which we had before within our formation programs and stopped. Therefore, we will invest a portion of our funds in reopening the Hangul classes, providing enhanced faith and cultural formation for our new generation and families to strengthen their encounter with Christ.

Stained Glass Windows

Beauty is an integral and essential part of our Catholic liturgy. The stained-glass windows in the church illuminate our worship space by allowing the beauty of sunlight to come inside. Depending on the time of day, the effect of the sunlight can be remarkable. We had planned to set stained glass in windows during construction, but we could not complete our plan, installing just the frames for stained glass instead. Therefore, it is time for us to provide beauty and luster to our church with new stained-glass windows.

A Bold Plan of Renewal

We — the Catholic faithful — are the agents of renewal for Church and society. I am grateful for this opportunity to walk alongside clergy and parishioners in strengthening our parishes and ministries, the heart of our Archdiocese.
