Our community is excited to participate alongside all parishes, missions and Catholic centers in the Archdiocese to strengthen and renew our Church for the future. Please continue reading to learn how this campaign will benefit us.
As an active and faith-filled parishioner, you are aware of the many blessings we have to be grateful for at St. Jane Frances de Chantal. Your family has likely celebrated many rites of passage here, such as Baptism and First Communion. You may have exchanged wedding vows in our church or bid farewell to a loved one in the comfort of your spiritual home. Truly, our parish plays a vital role throughout our lives.
But have you ever stopped to reflect on who is responsible for all we enjoy and use today?
Just as we now benefit from the generosity of those who came before us, we, too, are Called to Renew our Church so future generations can worship and encounter Christ.
I am pleased to announce the launch of our parish’s Called to Renew campaign and invite you to consider God’s many blessings in your life, our parish, and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
Each parish has been given a goal for the campaign. Our goal is $570,000, of which 50 percent will remain at our parish. We will also retain 100 percent of the funds we collect above our goal.
Please take a moment to read on the following page how Called to Renew will benefit our parish, and how we will use our share of campaign funds. I then ask you to prayerfully consider a five-year pledge to the campaign, which will allow us the best opportunity to meet our goal.
This campaign is essential to ensuring our Church is vibrant and healthy, and our parish remains a presence in the lives of parishioners and the community for years to come.
I hope you will join me in supporting Called to Renew.
Pledged over 5 years for the Called to Renew Campaign.

Parish Needs
Church Improvements
HVAC: At various times of the year, the temperature inside the Church can be very uncomfortable. Installing a new HVAC unit will greatly improve our comfort level.
Roof: Over the years, the Church roof has sustain water damage, and there are now visible cracks. Replacing the roof at the same time as the HVAC units will protect the Church from further damage.
School Gym
Installing new insulation and a new HVAC system to better sustain the temperature in the gym.
Parish Hall Renovations
The parish hall is the center of many parish and school gatherings. We would like to update the hall by installing a new energy-efficient HVAC system, new flooring, and new appliances in the kitchen.
A Bold Plan of Renewal
We — the Catholic faithful — are the agents of renewal for Church and society. I am grateful for this opportunity to walk alongside clergy and parishioners in strengthening our parishes and ministries, the heart of our Archdiocese.
