Our community is excited to participate alongside all parishes, missions and Catholic centers in the Archdiocese to strengthen and renew our Church for the future. Please continue reading to learn how this campaign will benefit us.
As we are grateful for the leadership of our Archbishop Jose Gomez, who, with a spirit of faith in Divine Providence, has seen fit to call us to participate in a project that will have a very positive impact on our entire local Church and certainly on our beloved St. Frances Xavier Cabrini community, I announce the launching of the campaign named Called to Renew.
With this project we will be witnesses of how the Lord continues to multiply the resources when we all join together to participate in what He proposes to us through our pastors.
Looking back, we realize that we came to this community already built through the enthusiastic participation and sacrifices of those who founded this parish community. With this same spirit we will now have the opportunity to renew our Church in the same way as we do in our homes.
When I began to exercise my ministry among you, it did not take me long to realize the strong sense of belonging that you have, and that is manifested in a strong spirit of collaboration, to move forward with what we have proposed: to be a hospitable and missionary community.
With this campaign, we have a very concrete mission that will make reality of what seemed impossible, with small initiatives that, although they were signs of very good will, were not capable of having the great impact that will be achieved with this campaign.
We will not be working alone. We will be assisted by our archbishop and the leaders who collaborate with him to meet our goal of raising $425,000 over a 5-year period.
Trusting in Divine Providence and in the participation of all, as inspired by the Holy Spirit, I am confident that we will surpass this goal.
I have heard the very positive testimony of brother priests who are encouraging other parish communities. They have shared with me the success of this campaign, the enthusiasm of their parishioners who have significantly exceeded the goal they have set for themselves.
50% of the proceeds will remain in our parish, in addition to all proceeds over and above this goal.
Below you will find information about our dreams that will come true thanks to this campaign. God, in his Providence, continues to assist us and will not leave us helpless, and our Patroness, St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, will be interceding for us so that we may continue to move forward in our beautiful mission as a community.
May the Lord Jesus reward you with a hundredfold and I ask Him to grant you the grace you need most.
Pledged over 5 years for the Called to Renew Campaign.

Parish Needs
Roofs
As mentioned above, the roof of the Church/Hall/Elementary Building has exceeded its useful life. As a result, we always have problems with leaks every rainy season. And last January, the church flooded due to heavy rains. Now we really need to address these types of problems, along with the Parish Hall roof and the Elementary Building. There are many patches at the top part of the room and the main building, and sometimes, the ceiling falls to the floor. To prevent major damages, we will repair the roof of the church, the primary structure and the parish hall.
Air conditioning and heating
Depending on the time of year, the temperature in the church can be uncomfortable. Our church was built when indoor cooling and heating were not typical. We will install a new HVAC system to help moderate the temperature in the Church to make our worship experience more comfortable.
Drainage System
Due to having older buildings, we also experience a lot of problems with our drainage system. To minimize the problems, as well as the expenses in repairing the drainage, we will change the drainage system in the whole area.
Ramp and Restroom
As required, we must follow governmental laws and regulations regarding accommodation of persons with disabilities in our restroom and access to the main office. Therefore, we will provide a ramp for members of our disabled community.
Remodeling of the Old Church Building
To accommodate our rapidly growing groups and ministries, including CCD students, we need to transform our huge four-room structure into a 6-room area. It would become four smaller rooms and two larger rooms. For larger rooms, we will use a movable divider for more flexibility. Some groups are not significant enough to occupy a vast space like the one we currently have. Once again, we need to renovate the interior side of the rooms, especially the walls.
A Bold Plan of Renewal
We — the Catholic faithful — are the agents of renewal for Church and society. I am grateful for this opportunity to walk alongside clergy and parishioners in strengthening our parishes and ministries, the heart of our Archdiocese.
