Our community is excited to participate alongside all parishes, missions and Catholic centers in the Archdiocese to strengthen and renew our Church for the future. Please continue reading to learn how this campaign will benefit us.
I am writing to you with immense joy and heartfelt gratitude in announcing the launch of our parish capital campaign in conjunction with the Archdiocese’s Called to Renew effort. This campaign will provide much the needed funding for parishes throughout the Archdiocese. The campaign will also benefit our parish – St. Elizabeth of Hungary.
Each parish has been given a goal for the campaign. The goal for our parish is $555,000, Fifty-50% of all funds raised up to goal will stay with our parish, and if we go over goal 100% of funds collected over the goal will remain with our parish. That means we get to keep $277,500 to address our own needs such as illuminating the parish and improving our parking lot.
Called to Renew will allow us to continue to be a vital presence in our community. You will find more details about how we plan to use our funds on the following page.
As your pastor, I invite you to take a moment in prayer to discern how best you can support this campaign. I also encourage you to consider making a pledge for a five-year period. This will allow us the best opportunity to reach our goal. This is a wonderful parish and faith community and I assure you that I am very fortunate to be your pastor. I know that you will do whatever you can to make this campaign a success.
We entrust this campaign to the intercessions of Our Blessed Mother.
Pledged over 5 years for the Called to Renew Campaign.

Parish Needs
Stained Glass Windows
The stained-glass windows in the church illuminate our worship space by allowing the beauty of sunlight to come inside. Depending on the time of day, the effect of the sunlight can be quite remarkable. However, the windows need some repairs so that they can return to their original luster.
Parish Center Improvements
The parish center serves an important role in the lives of the parishioners at St. Elizabeth of Hungary. Throughout the year the parish center serves as a place where we hold events, meetings, and where families gather after mass to visit with friends. To ensure that the parish center is functional today and into the future, we will rewire the electrical system and replace the flooring throughout the second floor.
A Bold Plan of Renewal
We — the Catholic faithful — are the agents of renewal for Church and society. I am grateful for this opportunity to walk alongside clergy and parishioners in strengthening our parishes and ministries, the heart of our Archdiocese.
