Parish Needs

Church Roof

The roof of the Church is past its useful life expectancy. This is evident every time it rains and portions of the roof start to leak. We have made do by patching up sections, but it’s time to properly replace the roof and prevent further damage and potential accidents from happening.

Lighting

The lighting in the Church is uneven in certain sections. To address this issue, we will convert to LED lighting. LED lighting, in addition to being more energy-efficient and long-lasting, is easier to control and focus in a particular direction and the light is more evenly distributed.

Air Conditioning & Heating

Our current cooling system was installed in the late 1960’s and it’s becoming more and more difficult to find replacement parts; and thus, becoming increasingly difficult to maintain. In addition, the technology of the 1960’s is much less efficient and requires more electricity to run while, at the same time, not being very capable of cooling, especially with the extreme temperatures we are experiencing in this day and age. Therefore, we intend to use a portion of the funds to install a new HVAC system to help better moderate the temperature in the church to make our worship experience more comfortable in a more efficient and responsible manner.

A Bold Plan of Renewal

We — the Catholic faithful — are the agents of renewal for Church and society. I am grateful for this opportunity to walk alongside clergy and parishioners in strengthening our parishes and ministries, the heart of our Archdiocese.
