Our community is excited to participate alongside all parishes, missions and Catholic centers in the Archdiocese to strengthen and renew our Church for the future. Please continue reading to learn how this campaign will benefit us.
As we approach the 75th anniversary of St. Anthony Parish, we recall the gifts our founding families gave to us. Those families joined together, as a community of faith, to construct our spiritual home. Because of their hard work and sacrifice, this community has developed, strengthened, and touched the lives of thousands of families throughout the years.
We now look to the future as we launch the Called to Renew campaign along with every parish in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. This campaign gives us the opportunity to begin updating our aging infrastructure, and to provide significant improvements to help advance our mission to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
During previous campaigns, in the 1950s and ’60s, parish families built a beautiful house of worship, a welcoming auditorium, and wonderful classrooms and meeting rooms. It is now our turn to work hard, sacrifice, and begin improving these facilities.
Let us take on the responsibility of making sure future generations of St. Anthony parishioners will continue to have a lively and wonderful faith community, with facilities that allow them to welcome and serve parishioners and visitors.
I invite you to participate in Called to Renew with your sacrificial gift, whatever it may be. Your gift will bear fruit for generations to come, long after we are gone.
Pledged over 5 years for the Called to Renew Campaign.

Parish Needs
Confessional Renovations
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is integral to our Catholic faith. Updating the confessionals will make them more inviting and suitable place in which to celebrate God’s mercy.
Church Painting
Neither the church’s interior nor exterior have been painted in many years. Repainting the exterior will allow us to make necessary repairs and protect the church from the elements. Refreshing the interior will ensure our sanctuary reflects the beauty of our liturgies.
Restroom Renovations
The church restrooms are outdated and difficult to use for some parishioners. Remodeling and modernizing the restrooms will ensure they are accessible to everyone in our community.
Youth Ministry
Pope Francis has called on us all to enhance ministries opportunities for teenagers and young adults during these critical years. Strengthening and expanding our youth ministry program will ensure we are engaging the next generation of the Church.
A Bold Plan of Renewal
We — the Catholic faithful — are the agents of renewal for Church and society. I am grateful for this opportunity to walk alongside clergy and parishioners in strengthening our parishes and ministries, the heart of our Archdiocese.
