Our community is excited to participate alongside all parishes, missions and Catholic centers in the Archdiocese to strengthen and renew our Church for the future. Please continue reading to learn how this campaign will benefit us.
As active and involved parishioners, you are aware of the many blessing we have to be grateful for here at Santa Isabel. You and your family have celebrated many rites of passage here from baptism to first communion. Some of you exchanged wedding vows in our church. And others have bid farewell to loved ones. The church plays a vital role throughout our lives.
But have you ever stopped to think about who built all the buildings which we
enjoy and use today?
Just as we have benefited from the generosity of those who have come before us, we too are “called to renew” our church so that future generations will have a place to worship and encounter God. I am pleased to inform you that our parish is participating the Called to Renew campaign. This campaign invites each of us to fully consider the many blessings of God in our lives, and in the life of our parishes.
We have been given a goal for our parish campaign, which is $220,000. 50% of this amount will remain with our parish. We also will keep 100% of the funds collected above our goal.
I invite you to take a moment and read the following page, and learn how Called to Renew will benefit our parish, and how we will use these funds. To reach our goal, I am asking you to prayerfully consider a five-year pledge to the campaign. This campaign is important to keeping our church vibrant and healthy. And will ensure that we remain a presence in people’s lives for years to come.
I hope you will join me in supporting Called to Renew.

Parish Needs
Church Flooring and Pew Repair
The flooring in the church is beginning
to crack and many of the pews need
repairing. Installing a durable tile and
repairing the pews will enhance the
beauty of our worship space.
Solar Panels
Pope Francis reminds each us of our
responsibility to care for our planet,
which is a gift from God. Installing solar
panels in the parking lot will greatly
reduce our energy use and costs while
providing shade for cars.
Parish Hall Kitchen
The kitchen in the parish hall is in need
of a complete makeover. Installing new
flooring, cabinets, and appliances will
increase the kitchen’s use and enhance
its efficiency.
Church Restrooms
The church restrooms need upgrading
with new flooring, tile, and fixtures.
Installing water-efficient faucets and
toilets will help us save water.
A Bold Plan of Renewal
We — the Catholic faithful — are the agents of renewal for Church and society. I am grateful for this opportunity to walk alongside clergy and parishioners in strengthening our parishes and ministries, the heart of our Archdiocese.
