From the Pastor

Dear Friends in Christ,

It is with immense joy and sincere gratitude that I announce the beginning of the capital campaign in our parish, in collaboration with the archdiocese, which is entitled: Called to Renew.  This campaign will provide necessary funds for churches in our archdiocese to repair and renovate their structures. Naturally, this campaign will also benefit our Mission of San Conrado.

Each parish has a goal for the campaign; Our goal is $50,000. 50% percent of all funds we will raise will be for the Mission; if we exceed our goal, 100% of every dollar we collect on the goal will go to the Mission. This means we could receive $25,000 or more to support our projects.

San Conrado Mission has a long tradition of service in Los Angeles. The Called to Renew campaign  allows us to continue our presence in the community. On the next page, there is more information about our plans for the use of the funds.

As your Pastor, I invite you to take a moment to pray and discern how you can support this campaign. I also invite you to consider a donation commitment payable over a five-year period. Your promise gives us the best chance of achieving our goal. Our Mission is a wonderful community of faith and I assure you that I feel very fortunate to be your Pastor. I am confident that each of you will do your best to ensure our success in this campaign.

To ensure the success of this campaign we ask for the intercession of the Virgin of Guadalupe our Blessed Mother, of St. Jude Thaddeus and of our patron saint San Conrado.
