Our community is excited to participate alongside all parishes, missions and Catholic centers in the Archdiocese to strengthen and renew our Church for the future. Please continue reading to learn how this campaign will benefit us.
In 2018, the Archdiocese launched the Called to Renew Campaign to strengthen our parishes and renew our sense of unity. Each parish has been given a goal for the campaign. The goal for our parish is $230,000, fifty percent of all funds raised up to goal will stay with our parish, and if we go over goal 100% of funds collected over the goal will remain with our parish. In other words, if our campaign is successful, we will receive a minimum of $115,000 to address our own needs.
Originally three things were presented to the parish to be the goals of this special Called to Renew campaign: Personal Prayer Space, Church Interior, and Gathering Plaza. Thanks to your great work and sacrifices, the first two things as we wrote above are being taken care of in the next few months.
Plans to build a Blessed Sacrament Chapel are already underway. Your previous pastor wanted to add on to the back of the sanctuary a chapel to experience Jesus in a quiet and reflective way and to reserve the Blessed Sacrament. We are also working on refurbishing the church interior by covering the walls with drywall and staining the wooden walls to look like red oak.
Thanks to your support and sacrifice we have been able to begin these projects that were previously launched. The relaunch of our Called to Renew campaign will allow us to accomplish even more for our parish. Over the last three years, the needs of our parish have grown and we hope that with your support we can make our parish even more inviting and welcoming.
I ask you to consider how you can help us continue serving those needs in a just way. Please prayerfully consider pledging your gift over a five-year period.
Pledged over 5 years for the Called to Renew Campaign.

Parish Needs
New Plaza Space
We have identified a space in the parking lot on the east side of the church where we plan to build an outdoor Plaza space. This space will serve as a friendly, safe, and enjoyable
gathering place where people can spend time, share food, and just socialize.
Paint Exterior of Church
Painting the exterior of the church is long overdue. The new paint will make the new
chapel look like it was part of the original building.
Landscape and Fencing
At present we have no attractive landscaping. We want to create a more green and welcoming space for our premises. The entrance to the parking lot on the S. Herbert Ave., side must also be renovated to accommodate two cars entering and exiting the grounds. Amplifying this area will also make it safer for our parishioners to drive in and out of our parking lot.
Bathrooms to Accommodate Disabled
The new bathrooms renovated in 2016, while quite pleasant, unfortunately were not
updated to legally accommodate the disabled.
Updating them to ADH compliance regulation code is not an expensive item at this
time and remains a priority for all our parishioners.
A Bold Plan of Renewal
We — the Catholic faithful — are the agents of renewal for Church and society. I am grateful for this opportunity to walk alongside clergy and parishioners in strengthening our parishes and ministries, the heart of our Archdiocese.
