To renew our parish and strengthen ministries.
After significant use over the years, the pews are aging, the kneelers are not as quiet as they once were, and the padding is wearing. We will restore the beauty of the pews by refurbishing and perhaps installing new end panels. The kneelers will be replaced, and new, padded kneelers will be installed with new hardware.
The light fixtures are original to the church and not compatible to LED technology. With Called to Renew funds, we will upgrade to LED lights and install new lighting panels, breakers and an electrical panel that can handle all our technical systems. The Stations of the Cross will have better lighting designed to encourage parishioners and guests to follow the way Jesus struggled for us in love.
The interior of the church is dated and needs uplifting to restore its beauty. We will install new stone or ceramic tile flooring throughout the sanctuary.
*These upgrades will bring in a burst of light, to help our Parishioners feel they are in a quiet place that brings the light of the word of God, to everyone who enters.

As Christians, we are called to meet the spiritual and temporal needs of others. Called to Renew provides us with an extraordinary opportunity to expand and enhance our ministries to the most vulnerable among us, so we may walk with the sick and dying as well as with the victims and perpetrators of violent crimes and their families.
The future of our Church is strengthened when men hear and answer the Lord’s call to serve as his shepherds. The Archdiocese is committed to vocations and the formation of our seminarians and clergy, so they may minister with joyful hearts in the years ahead.
Our mission to live in greater communion with God and the Church is carried out through our parish and diocesan schools, religious education and faith formation programs, and our presence on college campuses throughout Southern California.
