Parish Needs

Rectory Updates

The house of our rectory in the historic West Adams district is very old. It needs major repairs to the electrical system, roof, and the refrigerator. It is important for our priest to have a comfortable home at our parish, and a comfortable place to welcome visitors and conduct business. We will use the opportunity of this campaign to replace the electrical wiring and repair the roof to create a modern, comfortable rectory for our parish.

Parish Hall

Our parish hall is the center of our parish activities, but unfortunately it is showing wear. To have a functional and vibrant space for meetings and meals we will use campaign funds to provide crucial repairs to the floors, air conditioning system, bathrooms, and windows. We will also take this opportunity to paint the building exterior and repair the concrete in our courtyard and patio.

Church Campus

The church campus needs significant renovations to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all parishioners. The outside bathrooms need to be updated, and all roofs of the campus buildings need major repairs. To improve the safety and accessibility of our campus we need to repair the lift that allows people to access the parking lot and the church. Finally, we would like to install electric bells in our bell tower to refresh our church’s call to worship.

A Bold Plan of Renewal

We — the Catholic faithful — are the agents of renewal for Church and society. I am grateful for this opportunity to walk alongside clergy and parishioners in strengthening our parishes and ministries, the heart of our Archdiocese.
