Our community is excited to participate alongside all parishes, missions and Catholic centers in the Archdiocese to strengthen and renew our Church for the future. Please continue reading to learn how this campaign will benefit us.
As we approach the 70th Anniversary of Corpus Christi Parish, we are reminded of the gifts that our founding families gave to us. They built our school, our church, our hall and a community of faith that has developed and strengthened over the past 70 years. Because of their hard work and sacrifice, the Corpus Christi Community has touched the lives of so many Catholic families down through the years.
We now look to the future as we launch the Called to Renew Campaign alongside every parish in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. This Campaign gives us the opportunity to update our aging infrastructure in order that we can continue to maintain our parish and school facilities, and to provide solid security for our parishioners and school families here on the Corpus Christi premises.
The last campaign in our parish took place 70 years ago when our founding families were challenged to build our parish hall and our parish school. These multi-purpose buildings have served us well through the years.
I now ask that you take on the responsibility of making sure that future generations of Corpus Christi parishioners will continue to have a wonderful faith community with facilities that will allow us to serve our parishioners today and in the future.
I invite you to participate in the Called to Renew Campaign with your sacrificial gift, whatever it may be. You gift will bear fruit for generations to come, long after we are all gone.
Pledged over 5 years for the Called to Renew Campaign.

Parish Needs
Parish Kitchen
The parish kitchen is constantly used by the parish and the school, yet is outdated and many appliances are no longer working. Remodeling the kitchen and installing new appliances will enable the parish and school to continue great hospitality for years to come.
School Classrooms
Our school is one of our parish’s most important ministries, but certain areas of the building are howing its’ age. It is our goal to replace entry doors in the classrooms, fix old windows, and upgrade the lighting sys-tem in classrooms. These improvements will create a better learning environment.
Security Improvements
One of our main concerns is security on our premises. We are looking into adding more lighting in our parking lot and school courtyard, in-stallation of new security cameras, replacing exit doors at stairwells, and improving existing gate leading into school courtyard.
A Bold Plan of Renewal
We — the Catholic faithful — are the agents of renewal for Church and society. I am grateful for this opportunity to walk alongside clergy and parishioners in strengthening our parishes and ministries, the heart of our Archdiocese.
