Dear Friends in Christ,

As an active and faith-filled parishioner, you are aware of the many blessings we have to be grateful for at San Roque. As Catholics, we are continually called to give thanks for and find ways to return and spread the blessings we have received.

Archbishop Gomez has called each parish in the Archdiocese to participate in Called to Renew. This campaign is an opportunity for a renewal of our resources, spirituality, and sense of mission. This historic campaign will provide much-needed funding for parishes, including ours, and the ongoing mission of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

Each parish has been given a goal for the campaign. Our goal is $540,000, of which 50 percent will remain at our parish. We will also retain 100 percent of the funds we collect over our goal.

I invite you to prayerfully consider how you can most generously respond to and support this campaign. I also encourage you to consider making a five-year pledge, which will give us the best opportunity to reach our goal and help us both continue the ministry and mission of our parish in the present and step forward into the future.
